One of the HCEF volunteers leads everyone in games of musical chairs, water balloon toss, and a water/spoon race.
Have you ever played musical chairs with 24 chairs? It quickly becomes obvious that taking away one chair at a time will result in a VERY long game.

At first the kids are concerned about fairness. The adults are playing too? "We won't have a chance! They'll win!" But in fact, the adults of course give way to whichever of the littlest kids are still in the game.

As the game proceeds, some of the children who get "bumped" begin to help stop and start the music. Control of the on-off switch easily washes away the disappointment of being eliminated from the game.

Soon the remaining contenders are the teens, each intent on being the lone survivor.

The game comes down to two good friends, laughingly trying to outsmart each other and claim the seat of victory.

AND THE WINNER IS . . .

On to the water games!
