The Learning Centers developed by HCEF provide hundreds of homeless children with hope through learning. As we build additional sites to reach even more children, we want to ensure continuing and sustainable high-quality educational programming at the existing sites.
To accomplish this goal, HCEF and the shelters count on our community partners:
schools, hospitals, companies and corporations, government agencies, community organizations, religious institutions, and individuals.
Sometimes partnering means supporting HCEF events and programming. Sometimes it means a specific relationship between an organization and a shelter. Over the years, affiliated groups have directed tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of volunteer work to the shelters with which they are partnered and other HCEF programs. It is with thanks that we acknowledge and applaud our current HCEF Partners:
- Allegheny County Library Association
- Bethel Park Library
- Barnes and Noble Bookstores
- BOMA Building Owners and Managers Association of Pittsburgh
- Citizens Bank
- Diocene of Pittsburgh Schools
- Fairview Elementary School, Fox Chapel
- Independence Middle School, Bethel Park
- Keller Family
- Lincoln Elementary School, Bethel Park
- North Allegheny High School Key Club
