A friend of HCEF has said, "I can't say enough good things about the organization and the people I've met." We at HCEF can't say enough good things about the people we've met who have joined our dedicated corps of volunteers. And so to honor them we invited them to a special reception at Heinz Hall and tickets for the 2011 Community Partners Concert that featured guest artists Boyz II Men and our own world-class Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
Although the ambient lighting made photography difficult, these images at least capture the setting and most of the guests.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for Executive Director Bill Wolfe to introduce, praise, and thank each member of the HCEF Staff - small in number but mighty in accomplishment - and to acknowledge the strong partnership between HCEF and two homeless housing staff members as well as the contributions of our interns.

And Winnie says, "You volunteers play a significant role in helping us make a difference in the lives of the children and youth we together serve."
